Sustainable DNA

Sustainable fashion integrates eco-friendly practices in production and design, shaping a responsible industry for a greener tomorrow.

Creating product with its own unique sustainable DNA

Every product we create embodies our unwavering commitment to sustainability. Our vertically integrated manufacturing process ensures that each stage, from cotton cultivation to finished garment, adheres to the highest standards of environmental responsibility. Eco friendly materials such as BCI, recycled and regenerated cotton, and recycled polyester significantly reduce our ecological footprint. We believe in the circular economy model "Create, Use, Recycle" instead of the conventional linear economy model "Manufacture, Use, Eliminate".

Innovative production processes minimize environmental impact by optimizing resource usage, reducing waste generation, and enhancing energy efficiency. Through advancements like sustainable materials, renewable energy integration, and circular economy principles, industries can lower emissions, conserve water, and mitigate pollution. These innovations foster a greener approach to manufacturing, aligning economic growth with environmental sustainability for a healthier planet.

We have created a beautiful, harmonious workspace complimented by growing a specific plant Dracaena Draco (Dragon Plant). We did extensive homework and chose this plant for the considerable benefits it brings not just for environmental reasons but to ensure we offer a work place anyone would be happy working in.

The Dragon Plant has extensive air purifying qualities, removing toxins from the environment and improving air quality. We can operate our factory often without the need for expensive, environmental busting air conditioning because our indoor plantation scheme reduces indoor temperatures at least 30% cooler than outdoors, reduces our CO2 footprint by more than 50 tonnes per year, and helps give us a cost saving to improve our competitiveness.

Vertical manufacturing at Green Apparel streamlines production by integrating all essential processes, often under one roof, enhancing both efficiency and control. This comprehensive approach allows us to maintain the highest standards of quality and sustainability at every stage. Our capabilities include:

  • Fabric dyeing: Ensuring vibrant and sustainable colours.
  • Garment dyeing & washing: Offering a wide range of finishes and treatments.
  • Yarn dyeing: Providing consistency and durability in every thread.
  • Knitted stripes: Crafting detailed and precise patterns.
  • AOP printing: Delivering high-quality, all-over prints.
  • Screen printing: Applying designs with precision and versatility.
  • Embroidery: Adding intricate details and textures to garments.
  • Fast track service for knitted products: Ensuring quick turnaround times without compromising quality.

Our vertically integrated manufacturing process not only boosts operational excellence but also reinforces our commitment to sustainable and ethical production practices.

Our company and our strategic raw material partners offer Tier 1 through to 8 traceability, from soil & seed to finished garments. Our circle of life is that of one of our apparel garments. We have complete transparency and certification of our raw material procurement from seed planting onwards. Highlighted in green are the parts of the garment life we are in complete control of. We are working with our retail and branded customers to increase control over post consumer waste and the recycling process required to close the circle.
